Helen D. Johnson, age 80, of Highland; passed away on March 17, 2012. A dedicated homemaker who not only raised her children with love and devotion, but raised other people’s children and mothered anyone in their time of need. Beloved wife of the late Clyde Johnson; dear mother of Diane (Bob) Jones, Sandy (Bill) Dettore, Cathy (John) Styles, Brenda (Sam) Inzano; proud grandmother of Rob Jones, Lynne (Greg) Pellegrom, Lisa Dettore, Jennifer Styles, Tricia (Jake) Wiegand, John (Fiancée Jenni Kaufman) Styles, Jr., D.J. (Laura) Bloomingburg, Jason (Fiancée Amanda Nelson) Bloomingburg, Tyler Inzano; great-grandmother of Maggie, Livia, Shelbee Pellegrom, Graem Wiegand, and one on the way!; sister of Virginia Fitzgerald and the late Grady Kelley. The Funeral Service will be Friday, March 23, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. The visitation hours will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Memorial donations suggested to donor’s choice; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
