Karen Lynn Buche (Kuiper), 66, of Palmetto, FL, went home peacefully on November 24, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her four loving children, Rick, Dustin, Kelly, and Tammy.

Born to William Kuiper and Carol Sue (Norris) Jessup on July 10th, 1958, Karen was predeceased by both her parents and her late husband, Glen Buche. She is survived by her four loving children, Richard (Amy) Beres, Dustin (Christy) Beres, Kelly (Andy) Fox, and Tammy Powers; her three brothers, Rick (Sherrill) Kuiper, Michael (Toni) Kuiper, and David (Jeanne) Kuiper; her younger sister, Kim (Richard) Lewis; her 18 grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and love; as well as several extended family members and cherished friends.

Karen’s pride and joy were her grandchildren. She loved capturing their memories in photographs, amassing thousands of family pictures that will serve as lasting treasures for generations. A loving grandmother, Karen was also known for her thoughtful gestures, never missing a birthday and always sending cards filled with love and encouragement to her children and grandchildren on their special day.

A funeral service will be held at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322, on Saturday, December 7th, 2024. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, followed by the service at 6:00 pm.
