Connie Louise Rutz

Connie Louise Rutz, age 77, of Crete, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Connie was born April 30, 1944 to the late Olen and Mary Ada (Franks) Dean in Cloverdale, AL.She leaves behind her beloved son, Richard J. Dudek, along with his significant other, Sandra; step-daughter, Alanna Rutz-Mientus grandchildren, Victoria Dudek, Ashley (Michael) Bajorek, Nick Winkler, Madison, Ian, and Dylan Mientus; special companion, Dieter Thiem, his son, Mike Thiem; niece, Kathy (Buddy) Curles; and nephew, Stevie Dean. Connie is welcomed in to eternity by her husband of 35 years, Alan Rutz; parents, Olen and Mary Dean; daughter, Connie Dudek who passed away in 1990; siblings, Linda Sumpter, Fran Gallina, Mable Kick, Junior Dean, Melvin Dean, Buck Dean and her four legged friend, Speed the dog. Connie is described as a very faithful servant of God. She spent her career as a beautician, collecting over 50 years of new styles and hair-do's for her clients. She liked to listen to all versions of country and Christian music, and her hobbies included scouring re-sale shops for all kinds of neat things. In her earlier years, Connie spent time watching birds that would gather on her property. Per the wishes of Connie, no formal services will be taking place at this time. Kuiper Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
