Bobby was born May 19,1943; a son the late Robert Oldham and Mary Skeen. He was a loving and caring fiance, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bobby enjoyed working outdoors in the yard and making things out of wood. He had a soft and kind heart. He was full of jokes and made you laugh no matter what.
Bobby was a truck driver for 46 years. He drove for Bowman Transportation, Carolina Freight, ABL, and Johnson Motor Lines. He retired in 1996.
Preceded Bobby's death is his brother, Michael Dewey Oldham.
The loved ones left to cherish Bobby are his fiance of 25 years, Janet Prevost, two sisters; Brenda Oldham Bristow (Terry) and Sandra Kay Wilson (Jerry), three step children, Regina Barefoot Workman (Cecil), David Prevost (Chrystal) and Chrystal Prevost, four grandchildren; Logan Prevost, Nate McNeal, Jaxson Collins and Mackenzie Prevost and one great grandchild; Easton Prevost.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Hospice of the Piedmont.
The family will have a visitation for Bobby Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 1p.m-3p.m. at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations of High Point. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
