Richard Vance Hilton

Richard was born in Randolph County, September 23, 1943, a son of the late Jesse Vance Hilton and Mabel Millikan Hilton. He retired from W.J. Rives after 32 years of service. Richard enjoyed working in his yard and gardening.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Mae Garner; mother in law, Mary Allene Styron; a daughter in law, Glenda Jarrett; brother in laws, Larry, Carl and Harry Mishoe and Billy Garner and his beloved dog, Sir Louie Reddbone.

Surviving are his wife Bonnie Mishoe Hilton; a daughter, Joyce Lynn Black; four sons, Richard Dwayne Hilton and his wife Sumi, Tony Hilton, Jeff Jarrett and his wife Tammy and Chris Jarrett; a brother, Gary Hilton and his wife Linda; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Floral Garden Park Cemetery by Gene Garner. The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Tuesday from 2 until 2:45 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
