Judy Moore Kennedy

Judy Moore Kennedy, age 68, peacefully went to by with her Lord Tuesday, April 16, 2024, with her family be her side.

Judy was born in Davidson County, May 2, 1955, a daughter of the late Joe and Annie Livengood Moore. She was a graduate of Ledford High School. Judy worked in retail sales for many years, including Gibson's, Sky City and Concept Plastics. She and her husband, Jerry, enjoyed going to area flea markets. Judy was a caregiver to anyone in need and loved spending time at her beach house at Holden beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Kennedy.

Surviving are her daughter, Amy Kennedy; a son, Jeremy Kennedy; a brother, Joey Moore and his wife Gale; a grandson, Luke Kennedy; several nieces and nephews; three sister in laws, Sue Bowman, Dean Bumgardner and husband David and Judy Kennedy; three brother in laws, Richard Kennedy, Tony Kennedy and wife Janie and Donald Kennedy; and a special friend, Jamie Coggins.

A Celebration of Judy's life will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Zion Church of Thomasville by Pastor Josh Sands. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the service. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
