High Point- Ella Florence Campbell Craven 88 passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Westchester Manor supported by her family. She was born in Alamance County to the late Allen Levi Campbell and Elizabeth Fannie Walker. Ella was married to her husband Chester Craven for 53 years. She was retired from Belks. Ella was a member of the former Lexington Ave. Baptist Church. She enjoyed country music, wrestling and watching Chester bowl. She loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by all.
Ella is preceded in death by a brother William “Bill” Scott Campbell, and two sisters Mildred Boswell and Mary Alice Campbell. She is survived by her husband Chester Craven, her son Douglas Ray Campbell and his wife Nita Bradley Campbell, a step-son Chester “Clay” Craven Jr, and sisters Lessie Caudle, Louise Ryals and her husband Joe, two grandchildren, Jason Campbell and wife Jen, Lauren Campbell and a special niece Bobbie Ward.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 2:00PM at Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro. Visitation will be One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
