Mrs. Caroline S. Honeycutt passed away peacefully at Hospice Home in High Point surrounded by the love of her life, Joe Honeycutt, and children at the age of 93, on June 29, 2024. She was born in Lexington, NC on November 26, 1928. Caroline and Joe celebrated their 73rd Anniversary this past year.
Caroline was such a giving lady and always put others first!! She worked as an Office Manager in various furniture companies in High Point and Lexington for most of her career. She taught Sunday School at Christ United Methodist Church, in addition to volunteering for numerous activities at the church. She was Cub Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader, member of Koinonians Square Dance Group.
Caroline is proceeded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Roby Swing and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Claude Joe Honeycutt, four children, Greg Honeycutt (Linda D) of Thomasville, NC, Becky Marsh (Clyde) of Laurinburg, NC, Linda A Honeycutt of the home, Michael Honeycutt (Sandra) of Burlington, NC., and her sister Nancy Andrus (Jan) of Batesville, VA. She has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Caroline will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 4 p.m. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, one hour prior to service. Online condolences may be made at Sechrestdavisphillipsavenue.com.
