Annie Belle was born in Forsyth County, April 19, 1927, a daughter of the late David Lewis Martin and Laura Morphies Martin. She was married to Carl Boyd Robbins in 1947 and she cared for him for many years until his death in 2001. Annie Belle was a former member of Highland United Methodist Church in High Point and had attended Kernersville Friends Meeting. She loved to read her Bible and enjoyed birdwatching and sweets. Annie Belle was preceded in death by her sister, Eula Mae Bloomer and brothers, Leonard, Lewis and Melvin Martin.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law.
A Celebration of Annie Belle's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Kernersville Friends Meeting by Pastor Jeff Barnes. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the staff of Creekside Manor for their loving care of Annie Belle.
