Wilma White

Wilma ”Teen” Wright White, 82, of Hickory, NC, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Catawba Valley Hospital. Born on August 27, 1935 in Gaston County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Dewey Wright and Margaret Lydia Swink Wright. She was a member of Henry River Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Ms. White is survived by her husband of 40 years, Floyd White; daughters, Debra Moretz and Anita Ann Liner; step daughters, Lori Conners and Lisa Barnette; step son, Randy White; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Catawba Memorial Park with Pastor Lex Wright and Chaplain Kim Dowell officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
