Wanda was born February 9, 1926 in Catawba Co. to the late Frankie Rockett Whisnant.
She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and retired from Thomasville Furniture at age 82.
Surviving are a daughter; Julia Deans and husband, Stuart of Hickory and a granddaughter; Erin Rebecca Deans of Raleigh.
Services will be Wednesday, January 19, at 2:00 P. M. at Highland Baptist Church with the Reverend Kenny Robison officiating.
Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:45 until 1:45 PM at Highland Baptist Church.
