Ricky Clifton Lowman

Claremont – Ricky Clifton Lowman, 74 of Claremont went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Born on July 29, 1948 in Catawba County, NC, Ricky was the son of the late Clifton and Mary Killian Lowman. Rick was an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved to be out on Lake Lookout with his family and friends. He was nicknamed the “River Rat”. He was loved by his family and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Teddy Lowman (brother).

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 18 years, Marilyn McLean-Lowman and his daughter Angie Sigmon and her spouse Kelly Sigmon; a step-son Chris McLean and his wife Whitney McLean; grand-daughter Taylor Shook and her spouse Dylan Shook and great-grandson Walker, his grand-daughter Mary Katherine Dixon and her spouse Travis Dixon, and 2 grand-sons, Phoenix McLean and Gavin McLean.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the chapel.

The family will receive friends after the service.
