Patsy Carolyn Stafford

Having full assurance of eternal life with her Lord and Savior and after a courageous battle with cancer, Patsy Greene Stafford, 68 of Hickory, peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Greene; her mother, Norma Greene; her step mother, Freda Greene; and her great nephew, Curtis Medley, all of Hickory.

Patsy was affectionately called "Patty or Patchie" by many who knew her. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; sitting by the pool, chatting with friends and family, cooking, enjoying a good meal, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She attended Sandy Ridge Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra Phillips (Jim) of Hickory; her brother, David Greene (Nina) of Newton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was loved dearly.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Patsy touched are invited to Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 3120 Falling Creek Road, Hickory, at 11am on Saturday, July 10th, 2021.

The family would like to thank all of the great nurses with Hospice House and those who were there for her throughout her battle. Their hearts go out to all families who have lost a loved one to cancer.
