Michael Lewis Hollar, 77, of Hickory passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist.
He was born on July 25, 1947 to the late Bryce Wilburn Hollar and Margie Hefner Hollar in Catawba County.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrill Ann Cooper-Hollar; son, Michael Lawrence Hollar; granddaughters, Lauren Hollar and Sara Hollar.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Lisa Anderson will officiate the service.
