Mary Beth Mosteller

HICKORY - Mary “Beth” Mosteller, 81, passed away Wednesday at Frye Regional Medical Center. Beth was born July 21, 1932 in Gaston Co. to the late Chesley Gray Black and Mae Allen Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She was a lifelong member of Mtn. Grove Baptist Church and her greatest treasure was her family. Surviving are her husband, Johnny Mosteller of the home; sons, Dennis Mosteller and wife, Reba, and Ronnie Mosteller and wife, Shawn; daughters, Debbie Teague and husband, Ken, Teresa Shaw and husband, Robin, and Lisa Coulter and husband, Noah, all of Hickory; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Lackey and husband, Gene, of Myrtle Beach, SC and Camilla Buff and husband, Jimmy, of Hildebran and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 1:00 P. M. at Mtn. Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Loftis officiating.
