Lois was born July 6, 1916 in Lincoln Co. to the late Julius Lester and Minnie Emmerbell Scronce Sain.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Argus Leonard Shull, brothers, Mose Sain, Earnest Sain, Houston, Sain, Coye Sain and Charles Sain Carpenter, sisters, Bessie Coulter and Jetty Cody , grandsons, Gary Elliott and Kenneth Elliott, Jr.
She was a homemaker. She was raised as a Christian at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vale and later became a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. After the death of her beloved husband, she joined New Jerusalem Lutheran Church.
Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Elliott of Newton and Maxine Houser and husband, Bill of Vale, son, Leonard Shull and wife, Marlene of Hudson, granddaughter, Leisa Houser, grandson, Alen Forte, great granddaughters, Kendra and Kennedy Elliott, sister, Vivian Carpenter, sister-in-law, Jean Shull, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 2:00 P. M. at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church with Reverend Randall A. Cauble officiating.
Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:45 until 1:45 P. M. at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church.
