Jeffery Lance Ledford

HICKORY—Jeffery Lance Ledford, 60, of Hickory passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his residence. Born in Orange County, CA, on June 15, 1957, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Lois Clarice Plemmons Ledford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Jimmy Duncan and a nephew Douglas Olson. Jeff was a manager at GKN Driveline where he worked for 29 years. He is survived by his wife Karen Kay Ledford of the home; a son Michael Ledford and wife Angela of Conover; a daughter Nikki Loudermelk and husband Anthony of Newton; 3 grandsons Darien Ledford of Conover, Tore Ledford of Conover and Joshua Loudermelk of Newton; 2 sisters Karen Duncan of Hickory and Terri Olson and husband Bernie of Conover; 8 nieces; 3 nephews; other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Earnest Richards officiating.
