HICKORY – Brenda Gail Clark, 79 of Hickory was promoted to glory on September 24, 2023.
Born on November 16, 1943 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Carrie Sigmon Clark. Brenda was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Hickory. She loved crafts, coloring, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. Brenda had a contagious laugh who brought joy to everyone that she met.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Clark and Larry Clark; sisters, Elizabeth Watson and Shirley Neal.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Scottie South of Hudson; and a number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces, great nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 2 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Major David Repass officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 PM -2 PM at the funeral home.
