Billie Margaret (Page) Bumgarner

Born March 9th 1933 in Catawba County. She was the daughter of the late William Taft (WT) and Ethel Killough Page.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Isaac Ray Bumgarner and Sister Mary Page Mecimore.

Mrs. Bumgarner was a member of Royal Chapel Church of God in Hickory, NC. She also was a past Girl Scout Leader at First Church of God Hickory for many years which she loved taking the Scouts on trips. Her professional career was a bookkeeper for companies such as Southern Desk, Arlene Hosiery and ER Carpenter. She enjoyed camping in Georgia, water skiing, traveling, gardening and pottery. She was a devoted Atlanta Braves Fan as well as a supporter of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren extracurricular activities.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa and husband Mark Dyer of Hickory, NC and Donna and husband Chris Ferguson of Hickory, NC. Grandchildren: Katie Nicholson and fiancé Chad Whitehurst, Jamie and husband Brandon Beasley, Trace and wife Kelsey Dyer, Hunter and wife Sarah Dyer, Joseph Jacomine and fiancé Kathleen Gaffney, Kali and husband Jacob Zimmerman, Luke Bumgarner and Heather Gilmore. Great-Grandchildren: Jackson Taggart, Ava Nicholson, Olivia Whitehurst, Jackson Whitehurst, Tucker Dyer, Joshua Beasley, Skylar Beasley, Lilly Dyer, Malia Dyer, Lila Zimmerman, Will Gilmore, Madison Burgess and Gabe Gilmore. Sister Martha McNuer, Nephew: Ted Mecimore and Nieces: Cara Mecimore Clark, Debbie McNuer.

By all those who knew her, she will be remembered and loved.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15th from 1:00- 3:00 at Royal Chapel Church of God. 7190 George Hildebrand School Road, Hickory, NC 28602 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.
