Betty was born April 3, 1927 in Lincoln County, and was the daughter of the late James Lester and Ella Hoyle Beam.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy C. Hilton, brothers Paul Bess Beam, Hubert Lester Beam and sister Eva Sue Beam. Betty graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College. Married Lee and they both went to work for Lockheed-Martin Aerospace, where they retired after 38 years.
A private service were held at Catawba Funeral Home followed by interment at Catawba Memorial Park.
Many thanks to David and Cindy Dietrich for their loving care, also the staff of Visiting Angels, Carolina Caring and Catawba Regional Hospice which provided extraordinary care for Betty in her home, until she went to be with the Lord.
Betty is loved by so many and will ALWAYS remain in our hearts.
