Betty Ann Bethel

Betty Ann Aiken Bethel, 84 of Hickory passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at her residence.

Born on September 29th, 1940, in Buncombe County, NC, Betty was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Margie M. DeBruhl Aiken. She brought such joy, kindness and love to her friends. Classy lady will be missed by her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Bethel; her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Larry Frye and her nephew, Joey Frye.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her sister, Linda Aiken; her nephews, David Frye (Joann) of Yorktown, VA and Todd Frye of Hickory, NC; her nieces, Samantha Frye, Anna Frye Gasparini (Peter) and Megan Frye and her great niece, Lucy Ann Gasparini.

A Committal Service will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 547 - 6th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601 in Betty’s name.
