It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mario Ortelio Leon, who passed on November 17, 2024, at the age of 83, in Miami, Florida. Born in Cuba on May 29, 1941, Mario’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

Mario’s life was defined by his passion for his family, his dedication to his work, and his deep sense of compassion for others. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His strength and determination in the face of life’s challenges were a constant source of support for those around him.

In his passing, we celebrate the life of a man who lived with dignity, grace, and a fierce love for those he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to guide us, offering strength and comfort in the days to come.

A Visitation for Mario will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010. Mario will be laid to rest at 2:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West Cemetery, 14001 N.W. 178 Street, Miami, Florida, 33018.
