Maria is survived by her daughter Dionne Ruiz; her daughter Nancy Gonzalez; and her daughter Lourdes Taveras; her grandson Yeovany Taveras, her granddaughter Yanina Taveras, her granddaughter Jasmin Ruiz, her grandson Josue Ruiz, her grandson Sisigi Taveras, her grandson Nicoles Gonzalez and her grandson Michael Ruiz.

A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 from 6:00 PM through August 30, 2022 at 11:00AM at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Dade North, 1301 NW Opa Locka Blvd, Miami, FL 33167.
