John Henry Howell Melbourne, FL It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father John Henry Howell, 83, of Melbourne, FL formerly of Miami, FL. Our angel was called home on August 28, 2020. Born in Detroit, Michigan he joined the United States Army in 1960 where he proudly served his country for 31 years. There he met the love of his life, Sandra Lynn Howell (deceased). He is survived by his son Prince Howell, daughter Christina Young, daughter-in-law Mehroz Howell, granddaughter Nyla Howell, and grandson Kayden Howell. Funeral service will be held at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home, Hialeah on September 25th at 6 pm. Affectionately called Major, Johnny, or Dad by all who knew and loved him, he will forever be in our hearts. His life's legacy if put in words would say: “A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.” We love and miss you, Dad.
