Michael,
I sure will miss you when I come out to Las Vegas, who will I play golf with now?  I’ll never forget the time we played that little executive course on Horizon Ridge.  The day before I went to hit balls and I was feeling really good.  So we get to the first hole and I hit my drive right down the middle next to the green, then came the fun! It was your turn, you shanked the first two then hit a dribbler down the middle, I waited for you to get in the cart but you were so upset and you wanted to walk, so I let you.  Your next shot you skulled over the green and that was it! You took your clubs off of the cart and walked to your car and left. I still wanted to play so I played by myself.  It was pretty boring, but it was probably for the best because you were really upset.  When I talked to you the next day we laughed about it.  He really looked like a pro golfer the way he was dressed (always dapper).  We had some really in depth talks that were good for both of us. I wish you would have called to talk to me if something was bothering you.  I always had a way of calming you down because we were alike in a lot of ways.  I will really miss you and will cherish the memories that we shared.  I pray to God every night that he will take you under his wing and take good care of you.

We only spent a handful of days in Michael's presence, but that was more than enough time for us to see the goodness in his heart and the generosity of his spirit. The fact that he was willing to graciously welcome his father-in-law to live in the home he shared with his wife and young daughter pretty much says it all. We are sad that we didn't get to spend more time with Michael. But the time we DID share was an absolute pleasure.  A modest, sweet, loving and very talented man. Rest in peace, Michael Dease.

My heart is so sad for the Fiorillo Family .  I met Michael a few times and thought he was a great husband who adored Elisa and was a loving father to his beautiful daughter Olivia.  I know you will be watching over them and will be their angel making sure they will be ok. You are loved very much Michael and will be missed. 💕

I had the opportunity to work with Mike on many occasions. He was always regarded as, and will forever remain in our memories, the consummate gentleman.

      The three of you made a wonderful family.  I loved knowing how much you all meant to each other and how you made the most of so many moments together.  You loved and supported each other well. 
 Michael had a wonderful heart and a great laugh!  He was a wonderful pool day host and made the best Fresca drinks.  I wish we had more opportunities to be with you all, because it was always a fun time together.  I always admired his commitment to his health and how hard he worked to provide for you all; allowing you, Elisa, to continue to pursue what you were created to do ...sing, perform and bring joy to so many!                                                                                        
       We are deeply saddened by your sudden loss and know that no words could ever comfort you fully.  However, please know that we are praying for you daily and that God will be the God of peace, comfort and love for you as  you continue on in this journey of life together.

Michael  my boy. The thing I will miss most about you is the stupid games we used to play at work. The conversation we used to talk about and the lessons you would teach me about life. The laughter that went on the side jokes the "That's what they used to call me in high school" and "Dease nuts" that were always silly but made us laugh. The paper game that we did to kill time together making up rules as we went to keep us busy on those slow slow days. They point system you established since it became to easy. The the times you would all out dive just to get a point showing your inner kid and enjoyment of something so little.  The timed we left work early to sit down relax have a beer and watch cricket not knowing what was going on but just laughing. These are the days I will miss but never will forget.  You left a standing impression on me. I will miss you buddy.

I remember when I was about 4 years old Michael and Elisa had asked for me to be their ring bearer in their wedding. Cousin Tiffany was the flower girl and we got to walk their puppies down the isle. I was so young thats its hard to remember most of what happened that day but I do remember the two of them with the biggest smiles on their faces and plenty of love to share. They raised a beautiful daughter that I got to connect with at family gatherings and I am amazed at what she has accomplished and am eager to see what her future holds. I always loved talking to Michael growing up because he would always bring humor into any situation and always make my day better. We love and miss you very dearly.

In remembrance of my cousin Michael Dease. 

Michael was a Father, Husband, Son, Cousin, Uncle and one of the greatest people I have ever known.

 As a young child I always looked forward to the days that I got to spend with him. He was witty, incredibly artistic, funny, ambitious, free-spirited among many other great qualities. 

Although he may not have known, he taught me to be humble, grateful, good spirited, to try new things, be adventurous, to laugh and to love.  

I can't think of one person who did not enjoy his company. There is much to be learned and said about that. Character and attitude are everything. 

For Elisa and his amazingly wonderful Daughter Olivia. There will be many times of anger, appreciation, wondering "why", resentment, love, crying and laughter. Emotions tend to play tricks on our mind. Please choose to embrace the wonderful man that he was and to enjoy your many personal memories of him. I know that he loved you both dearly. 

I will forever love and remember you Michael.

We shared many laughs on the golf course and under our breaths.  I will always remember you for your smile and amazingly quick wit.  You were far more intelligent and talented than you gave yourself credit for.  I could see why my sister loved you....

Be at peace and know you were loved and will be missed.  Our collective job is to help those left behind heal and grow.  I promise to be that for my niece and my sister.

Michael was a wonderful co-worker, friend and confidante. A very insightful and intelligent and entertaining human being. Michael never missed an opportunity to give you a compliment or offer his assistance with anything. His smile and bubbly walk up and down the halls at the Wynn will be greatly missed. My heart is broken when I’m reminded by something funny I want to share and the reality that he is gone. See you on the other side of the stars Michael. Rest in Heaven. 

I remember meeting Michael, some years ago....at our daughters’ preschool.  Just a few times; but every time, he was so happy to be picking up his beautiful little girl!  Well, that little girl—- “Olee”
( my nickname for Olivia)...sent a care package home with my little girl...So sweet of her, and that’s how I met Elisa!!!! 
A friendship blossomed —for all of us....
We will cherish our memories of you, Michael.  And we will will always love and care for your girls!😘🙏🏽❤️

I met Michael when Olivia and Billie became friends at Jr Junction preschool. We Immediately struck up a friendship.., both being from the midwest, Both being golfers (although I never actually beat him) and both young fathers learning about parenthood. Michael was a good father and a friend who proudly served his country.., he will be missed. Sempre Fi.

I will always remember your kindness and smile. Keep a watchful eye over Olivia and Elisa and help them find strength, courage and peace. God Speed 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Mike was someone I always looked forward to working with at the Wynn. He was quick-witted, handsome, and always made work interesting. The loss of Mike Dease is a big one and I’m so sorry and sad that his girls and everyone else he’s ever met had to lose such a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mike, and with your family. 

Elisa and Olivia:  We continue to keep you both in our daily prayers.  We are saddened by your loss and we want you both to know our family will always be there for the both of you.

We wanted to each share a memory we had about Michael.  
Chris:  "My earliest memories of Michael was when he played Mr. Mom to Olivia when Elisa was on tour with Prince when our daughters first met and became Best friends in Pre-school at Junior Junction.  He did such an amazing job with caring for Olivia, cooking and keeping a clean home, taking Olivia golfing and other fun activities and even coordinated play dates with us and traveled with Olivia to meet Elisa on tour.  He supported Elisa in her career and took care of things so she didn't have to worry as much being away from her young daughter."  Michael always spoke so highly of both Elisa and Olivia.  
Paul:  "I enjoyed golfing with Michael over the years even though he beat me every time which I have never admitted to my wife that he did until now". lol.... I enjoyed his company and conversations.  He will be missed.
Emily: "I remember having a sleepover at Olivia's house and Michael took us swimming in their pool and we stayed up late around the campfire making smores". He always made me feel welcomed when I was over and I am going to miss him.

I remember meeting Michael for the first time many years back.  It was at the Bootlegger where Kelly Clinton and Elisa were performing a comedy number.  Michael was at a nearby table making a video of the performance.  He was beaming with pride and so was I.  Since then my daughter,  Kelly,  and Michael's wife, Elisa have become very close friends and continue to perform at many venues together.  
I wish to offer my deepest condolences to Elisa and her daughter, Olivia.  Losing Michael at this time is so very hard for both. While Michael is at peace,   I pray for your strength and for your faith to know that all is in God's hands.  With love, Ellie

Since I left the encore pool back in September and got a full time shift with you; we had great memories with each other. We had fun conversations with our servers, the laughs we had upon one another. Wish you came back to work sooner, like you said you wanted to. One day we will see each other again; and for your family, I’m truly sorry for your loss. We the WYNN family are here for you.

Your nephew Logan was very, very lucky to have had a chance to know you and have such an amazing uncle. Your kind spirit and friendly nature will always live in him. 

Rarely do we meet people that are as genuine as Michael. His smile lit up a room and made you want to talk to him for hours. Such a kind and gentle soul. My favorite memories of Michael will always be how proud and in love he was with his family. I would go to watch Elisa perform but I have to admit I missed a few songs because watching Michael watch her perform was so very heartwarming. Of course having said that he showed the epitome of love whenever Olivia was on the stage! His love will always be with you - treasure it and draw strength from it - I truly believe that is what he would want.

I had known Elisa for some time, but had never met Michael. I had been invited to one of their amazing holiday parties and I rememeber how struck I was by the simple sense of love and family that radiated throughout that house. I knew it wasn't just Christmas spirit, but that sense of love and family was a part of that household. Meeting Michael for the first time, he could not have been more kind and welcoming to me. It remains such a fond memory for me...

When I First Met Michael Dease at Elisa's Gig at IAC ! I told him he was a Sharp Dressed Handsome Man ! In the almost 5years  we met I had some good conversations and laughs ! He was there for me when needed ! He was an Amazing Artist ! A Full of Love Husband Father and Son ! He went home way to Early ! He will be missed but never forgotten ! 

I had the pleasure of working with Michael for 14 years. He made us all smile and laugh every time he was in our presence.  I was lucky enough to give him a hug before he went out on his leave of absence and talk with him. Just like every other conversation we had, we talked about our children and how proud we were of them. Olivia, your daddy loved you beyond words. He was a good man. Sometimes we can’t explain what’s going on in someone’s mind, but the one thing I DO know is that he was beyond proud of you. He talked about you ALL the time. I know how much you and mommy miss him, but know he is still with you and will be always. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. Stay strong for mommy and I know mommy will stay strong for you! My heart aches inside for your pain and grief and I hope that you both will both move forward in the most positive way you’re able to. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you and all that loved him. Rest In Peace Micheal you will be truly missed by your Wynn family.

The first time I met Michael was when he was 3 yrs 9 mos. I had met his mother a few days earlier through a college friend and went to their house to see her. He was playing with neighbor kids and came up to me and asked if I was going to be his new daddy. I responded that it would be up to his mother. I became his dad 5 months later.

The following year at Christmas when we were living in N. Carolina was the first time he called me Dad. It meant so much to me. His brother Dan took that as a sign that it was OK to call me Dad as well.

There are a lifetime of other moments, taking him to the Federal Building the morning he reported to go to boot camp for the USMC. Wanting to go with him, but knowing he had grown-up and wold be fine. Years later when he would call with questions while rebuilding the engine of his '60s Fairlane. Visiting him at a restaurant he worked at and having a patron comment that the could see the family resemblance. His introducing us to Elisa, their wedding, remodeling their condo, Olivia's birth, remodeling their bathroom floor on Sweetgrass, and helping with hanging the chandelier at the new house. 
I will miss him and think of him every day.

We never got to meet you Michael but the love you  gave to your family has touched our hearts.  May the memories always give joy to Elisa and Olivias hearts.

Your infectious smile, jokes, deep conversations and most importantly your laugh will never be forgotten. All of your coworkers here at Wynn will always carry a piece of you in our hearts and we are truly blessed to have been able to get to know you over the years. Dear Michael I am not writing to you because you don't have a phone anymore so I will pray for you and hope you will hear me. Elisa and Olivia we are so sorry for your loss and we want you to know we love you very much. We will always be there for you .  I'm sorry I don't have some witty thing to say but it hurts so much to think of him. If I were to tell of all the good memories of Michael my battery would die and it would take weeks to type. So I'll just say this, Michael was more than my nephew he was my friend and I miss him very much. I'm sorry I can't see the letters anymore so know that we love you guys and hope to see you soon. 

Michael always had a warm inviting smile and loved everyone around him. I am blessed to have spent memorable moments with him and Elisa, including their baby shower for Olivia. He glowed brighter than the sun at the thought of being a Father. I know he will continue to watch over his loved ones until they all reunite in Heaven. Michael from the moment I saw your handsome face and the joy you brought Elisa I was so happy for both of you. Elisa told me she met a “helping man” after you hung a TV on the wall in her apartment in Burbank.  She was grateful that you were there to do things for her and WITH her. I was honored to sing at your wedding and YOU were the BEST MAN at our wedding. When Olivia was born you were the happiest man in the world. I know how much you love Olivia and you have cherished her every day of her life. Michael you were a wonderful father ;)  I’m sorry you were in so much pain.  Sometimes going back to heaven with God is what some people need to do. I pray love, happiness, joy, and peace for your soul and over  Olivia.  Olivia is a great human being because you helped make her one.  I know she will do wonderful things with her life!

I will miss your kind smile and you making me laugh when we would come to visit!  I enjoyed sharing our status as the spouses who married into the Fiorillo family!  They sure are a funny and close knit bunch.   Sometimes we just needed to watch them interact and smile and nod at each other!  So much love along with a bit of craziness.  I enjoyed your passion for things you loved; your family, your puppies, art, golf.  You were always so animated when you told us stories about work and interesting things that happened to you.  We will always remember you with love and affection.  We will also be there for Elisa and Olivia as they navigate this new life.  Olivia is such a beautiful blessing with so many talents which come from both you and Elisa.  She will carry on your spirit.

Michael, I appreciate the limited time we shared together (especially when we hung out in Minnesota while Elisa rehearsed with The NPG). Thanks for driving me around your hometown and showing me the club First Avenue, railroad tycoon James J. Hill’s mansion and the empty building where once stood your old Art School. I always felt like I understood you, and I would always tell Elisa that I liked you. If I had known you were suffering on such a deep level I would have dug deeper and tried to help... but what’s done is done and I know you will be watching over your family, especially your beautiful, smart, talented daughter Olivia.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael at The Wynn, he was alway smiling and friendly. We were both from Minnesota and had the MN Nice personality. He was on of the nice guys at The Wynn, where thier were few. Rest In Paradise Michael you'll be missed brother.

I remember Michael as a small child in Minneapolis.  He was so sensitive and concerned for others.  I remember crying when they moved to North Carolina.  He sent me a small resin doll with arms outstretched, that said: I love you THiS much.  I will never forget that and how loving, gentle, and kind a child he was and such a beautiful spirit he carried and still does.  Peace and Love to his entire family.
