Joseph L. Berry

Joseph L. Berry, age 90, of Henderson, Nevada passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to his parents Earl and Minnie (Williams) Berry. Joseph graduated high school and went on to continue his education to obtain his bachelor's degree. On 18 November 1953, Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Army, where He served honorably in Germany during the Korean War.

Joseph married the love of his life, Sharon; on August 8, 1952 in Henderson, Nevada. The two were married for 60 beautiful years until her passing in 2012. He was also a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather; who loved his family unconditionally. He was caring and understanding, and his family meant the world to him. Joseph liked to play and tell Jokes, go out to eat, tinker with his ham radio, and spoil his granddaughter. His family always called him Lindy; but his friends at work at EG & G called him Joe. Joseph was a simple man, but he was a true inspiration to his family and will truly be missed.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 60 years, Sharon. He is survived by his daughters: Chairl (Darrell) and Julie (Steve); his grandchildren: Brittany (Tory) and David (Gigi); and his great grandchildren: Kailee, Chasin, Steven and Jackie.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 beginning at 9:30 AM at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
