Dianne Taylor, age 71, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022. She was born August 7, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Lorene Faye Jones and Thomas Marker. At an early age, her family relocated to Nevada where she grew up. In her teens, the family relocated again to Minnesota where she finished school, graduating from Anoka High School in 1968.
Dianne spent a few years in Minnesota where she began her family. She was blessed with two sons, John and David. Raising her two boys, Dianne decided to head back to Nevada. To support her growing family, Dianne found work in the gaming industry. She retired after working at Harrah's serving cocktails for over 40 years.
Later in life, she would meet a man who would complete her life. After 10 years together, on May 4, 1997, Dianne married John "Jack" Charles Taylor. The couple would blend their lives and families and continue share life's adventures that would come their way.
Dianne was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed her family and the outdoors. She loved going back to Alabama to fish in her favorite fishing hole. She was also a lover of animals, especially her dogs.
Dianne was a free spirit, and lived life to the fullest. She has a heart of gold and a smile that warmed your heart. She touched many lives, and will truly be missed.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Marker; and her mother, Lorene Faye Jones. She is survived by her husband, Jack Taylor; her sons: John and David Bauer; her goddaughter, Brooke Gantman who she shared a special relationship with; and her extended family and friends
A memorial gathering for Dianne will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to The Animal Foundation.
