Charles Lawayne Thurman

Charles "Nub" was preceded in death by his brothers, Orange Thurman, Jr., and Anderson "Shorty" Thurman. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 30 years Toni Thurman. His children Tysheika Thurman, Terrilyn Taylor, Charles Thurman II, Charles Thurman III, Cameron Thurman, and Alexis Thurman. Stepchildren Michelle Peyton, Heather Peyton, Eric Peyton, and Matthew Peyton. His brothers Ellis Thurman, Carvin Thurman, Dwight Thurman, and Joseph Williams. Sisters Emma Luna, Tanzie Dickerson, and Kathy Johnson. Nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Charles was a man that loved his wife and family more than anything else. He enjoyed spending his time doting on his grandchildren. He found peace in nature and was an avid fisherman. A hardworking and generous man that would give you the shirt off his back. He was the first one to lend a hand to someone in need. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him.
