Betty Louise Harper, 93, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on September 29, 2021 in Henderson, Nevada. Betty, a loving Aunt who truly appreciated life and never took her blessings for granted, was born on August 15, 1928 in Uniontown, PA to parents Lena and Benjamin Turpin. Betty was bilingual in English and Spanish, received an Associate’s Degree, and graduated from Business School. She then worked as a legal secretary for Rockwell International (Boeing) and on Wall Street for a law firm.
She was a widow for many years.
Betty was a confident, assertive woman who was passionate about books, nature, pets, laughter and having fun, and spending time with family. She is survived by Kimberly Roberts, Gary Roberts, Brittany Turner, Erika Turner, Salvador Duer, Morgan Duer, Frederique Powell, Rosita Wright, Georgia Lee Holt, Janet Holt, and Greta Holt, as well as several other close relatives and loved ones.
Services were held on October 14, 11:00am at Palm Mortuary on 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV, 89015.
