Wendy and Genesis Lopez-Araiza

Wendy Leigh Lopez-Araiza passed away at the age of 46, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in Hemet, California. She was born Tuesday, February 5, 1974, in Banning, California, to Jay Robert Mead and Carol Ann (Cooper) Mead.

Wendy was blessed with 27 years of marriage to the love of her life, Rene Lopez-Araiza. Her children were her world. Wendy was a very kind and loving person who enjoyed quality time at her home with her family. She loved Knott's Berry Farm and had a Snoopy collection. Wendy enjoyed yard saling, Thrift Shopping and Swapmeets.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Rene; her children, Rene Jr, Sabre, and Nevaeh; her parents, Jay and Carol Mead; and her siblings, Robin Cockrell, Tim Mead, and Jeremy Mead.

Genesis Ann Lopez-Araiza passed away at the age of 21, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in Hemet, California. She was born Friday, October 30, 1998, in Hemet, California, to Rene Lopez-Araiza and the late Wendy (Mead) Lopez-Araiza.

Genesis graduated from West Valley High School. She was a drawing artist who enjoyed Anime and video games. She gave the best gentle hugs in the world. Genesis was a loving soul with a heart of gold. She always had a positive attitude, encouraging everyone.

Genesis is survived by her loving father, Rene Lopez-Araiza; her caring siblings, Rene Jr, Sabre, and Nevaeh; and her grandparents, Jay and Carol Mead. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wendy.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, located at 1501 W Florida Ave , Hemet, California. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 10:00 AM, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, in Hemet, with a Graveside Service to follow at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, located at 2555 S. Santa Fe Ave, San Jacinto 92583.
