Sylvia was a loving and generous woman; she loved caring for her family and the community around her. Sylvia's greatest joys were the times she spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sylvia's passion for life was evident in all she did. She enjoyed the peacefulness of oil painting and also enjoyed dancing, water aerobics, playing golf and tennis.
Sylvia and her husband Jim belong to the founders of the Colony and are some of the original residents. She served the community by donating her time as bookkeeper for St. Martha's Catholic Church for several years. She also served on the Colony Finance Committee and was a member of the board for several other committees.
She is loved and will be missed by her husband, 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
There will be a funeral mass held at St. Martha's Catholic Church in Murrieta, California on December 10, 2014 at 10:00 am followed by a graveside service at Riverside National Cemetery on December 10, 2014 at 11:45am
Jim and their family will host a Celebration of Life reception at the Colony Clubhouse on Wednesday, December 10th at 1:00 pm.
