Shirley Ann Pearson

Shirley is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife Kristen, Bruce and his wife Susan, her four grandchildren: Alyson, her husband Dan, Hayley, Kaitlin and Cassandra Pearson as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Wayne L. Pearson, her parents Joseph and Annie Ebright, her two siblings and loving niece Joann preceded her in death.

Shirley was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska on September 13, 1930. She was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. Shirley was a strong believer in Jesus Christ, our Lord. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gardena, CA and for the last 33 years, Canyon Lake Community Church, Canyon Lake, CA. Shirley participated in and held leadership positions in countless activities, and events, which helped spread and instill the love of God to others.

One of Shirley’s greatest joys was traveling and camping with her friends and family. She had the opportunity to travel overseas and in the United States. She and her family especially loved their many wonderful adventures visiting our National Parks. Along with Wayne she was one of the founding members of “The Rovers“ their RV group. She also helped to organize and disseminate The Gazette at The Farm where they lived for many years.

A private family service will be held at Miller Jones Mortuary followed by burial at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date at Canyon Lake Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Canyon Lake Community Church
