Robert Harvey Arnold

Robert Harvey Arnold, 91 of Hemet, California passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born on Thursday, September 24, 1925 in Phillips, Nebraska to the late Earl and Edna Arnold. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Arline Arnold, four children, Julene Hart, Jeri Kenney, Sharon Jery, and Lori Vargas, five sisters, Marjorie Sharpe, Bernice Taylor, France O'Neel, Betty Chambers, 8 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, and 11 Great Grand Children. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Kaufman and sisters, Stella Roberts and Joyce English.

Bob was a proud veteran of World War II where he served honorably in the United States Navy. He later became an active member of the American Legion, Post #53, where he served his fellow veterans as a member of the honor guard. He was also a proud member of the Hemet Elks Lodge and the Lakewood Elks Lodge, the Crean Cruisers RV club, and the Downey Moose Lodge.

Bob loved fishing every chance he got, but his most precious time was spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Bob was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor to know him.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at McWane Family Funeral Home located at 350 N. San Jacinto St. Hemet, California 92543. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:45.
