Patricia Baker passed peacefully on September 4, 2019 at her home in Moreno Valley, California. She was born on September 14, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri to Calvin Warrick and Jeural Moses. Patricia attended Wendell Phillips Jr. High School, Lincoln High School, and was a graduate of R.C. Coles Vocational School. She worked for Kaiser Permanente as a Secretary, and the California Department of Employment. Patricia was a caring mother and devoted wife. She always had that little "Tee Hee” laugh during her conversations. There was always and encouraging word and an uplifting attitude. Her favorite line was “I don’t do floors”. Her gourmet international cuisines consisted of spaghetti and meatballs, and neckbones. Mom’s liked to keep it real. She liked the letter J, and all her children’s names begin with J. This is a tradition which still goes on today through most of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patricia will be sorely missed. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Clay Baker Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children; Jay Ward of Azle, Texas, Joy J. Baker of Smyrna, Georgia, and James C. Baker II of Moreno Valley, California; 6 grandchildren, 16, great grandchildren, and a host a relatives and friends.
