Muriel May White, 96 long time resident of Hemet, California and 3 1/2 years in San Clemente, CA passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, California. She was born on Monday, June 30, 1924 in Kingston, Jamaica, the daughter of Charles Hughes and Myrtle Pinto Hughes. Widow of Joseph White married for a wonderful 66 years. Muriel was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, the Knights of Columbus, and The Elks for over 50 years. A loving Nana to her great-grandchildren, and a wonderful Grandma to her grandchildren she will surely be missed by all. Muriel loved dancing to the music from the 50's & 60's from the Rat Pack era. Surviving are son Joseph P White and wife Melissa Bock-White, daughter Eyvonne White-Bonnell and husband Timothy, grandchildren Anthony J White and wife Tammy, Heather Polese and husband Daniel, great grandchildren, Kristina, Alura, Brianna. Kaila and Autumn. A Funeral service will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday, the 28th of January, on the grounds of the Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518. Interment will be alongside her husband Joseph White in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
