Michael Wayne Peterson, age 55, of Hemet, CA passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home in Hemet, CA. Michael was born June 19, 1958 in Berkely, CA and was a long time resident of San Diego. Michael served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. He worked in civil service and as a government contractor, most recently at Del Rey Systems and Technology, Inc.
Michael was an avid golfer and loved nature. He enjoyed trout fishing and swimming at his favorite place on the Tuolumne River outside Yosemite.
He is survived by his wife, Jaculin (Muehlberg) Peterson; his parents Wayne and Renee Peterson; two sisters Lynne Brown and Susan Peterson; and one brother Andrew Peterson.
