Mary Ann was born in Anniston, Alabama, graduated from Anniston High School, and was married to Bill Norton since 1957. They owned a cabinet shop that specialized in making custom pieces.
Mary Ann was a devoted wife and mother who pledged her life to raising her children in a Christian home. She could cook, paint and sew. She was always a gracious hostess to everyone who entered her home.
During her life, she enjoyed leading the song service, playing the piano, teaching Sunday school, and directing the choir at church.
She would always quip that God gave her a ministry of helping out wherever there was a need. Her favorite attribute of God was his faithfulness.
Mary Ann is survived by her children Becky Dwinnell and her husband Craig; Brenda Houlihan and her husband Bruce; daughter-in-law Carla Norton (wife of son Bill Norton, deceased); Angie Hulberg and her husband Bob; Anita Christ; and Amy Norton; as well as her grandchildren Emily and her husband Matt; Megan and her husband Taylor; Robert; Susan; Jason; Lindsey; and Allison; and one great grandchild Ezra.
We love you and miss you already.
“Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” Matthew 25:21
