Mary Caroline Aguirre 75 of San Jacinto California, passed away peacefully at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center on February 21, 2018. Mary was known for her vivacious personality and love of family. She enjoyed reading, writing, acting,crocheting, knitting, and drawing.
Born on May 3, 1942 to Forrest and Verona (Neils) Williams, Mary was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After graduating from Augustana College with a Bachelors degree in English, she taught English in Wyoming for several years, where she met and married Robert Aguirre on June 10, 1968, she was later sealed for time and all eternity to Robert in the Provo, Utah LDS temple. She traveled the world with her husband and two children, Forrest and Joseph, as a US Air Force spouse, living in Germany, the Philippines, Italy, England, and various regions of the United States.
Throughout her life, Mary was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held
several positions of responsibility within the church. She was known for her friendliness and generosity and for her many stories, which she shared with all who would listen.
She was a dedicated wife and mother who sacrificed much for her family's well-being. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her sons, Forrest and Joseph, daughter-in-law Natale, grandchildren Issaka (Aguirre) Brellenthin, Kaiser Aguirre, Hayden Aguirre, and Oakleigh Aguirre, and great-grandson Owen Brellenthin.
She will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery.
