He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and poker, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Mr. Porter is survived by his mother, Muriel D. Porter of Hemet, CA; a brother, Meryle Baker of Hemet, CA; and a sister, Sharon Ann Brown of Texas.
