George Martinez

George Martinez passed away at the age of 58, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in La Jolla, California. He was born on Wednesday, July 24, 1963, in Phoenix, Arizona , to John V. Martinez and Mary (Timbres) Martinez.

George was married for 5 wonderful years to Juanita Martinez. He was blessed with four children that would later make George a grandfather as well. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his dirt bike, going to the shooting range, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends. George was very active in ministry. He enjoyed listening to his favorite song "Offering" by Third Day, reading the bible and praying with his family daily. George enjoyed helping and mentoring others. He was hardworking, strong, and a truly unforgettable man who served as a pillar of strength for others. His love for his family was beyond measure and he will forever be a hero to his family.

George was survived by his loving wife, Juanita Martinez; his children, Danielle Rosemarie Martinez, Adrianna (Emerson) French, Martin (Nellie) Gonzalez, and Rafael (Cindy) Guirado; and his grandchildren, Vicente Gonzalez, Christian Gonzalez, Victoria Gonzalez, Alea Guirado, and Elias Guirado.

A Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date.
