Denise Renee Smith

Denise spent her entire life in the Riverside County area. She was raised in Romoland, graduated from Perris High School in 1986, and was a well-known and respected family law paralegal for over 30 years. After raising her children, Denise went back to school and received her Bachelor’s degree.

Her greatest joys in life were being a mother to her children and a Nonna to her grandson. She will be remembered by her overindulgence in all that was purple and sparkled, her smile, her kindness and generosity to her friends, family, and community, and the several elementary school assignments her family has found that were entirely dedicated to Leif Garret.

Denise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kait and Ray Kearney, her eldest son and grandson Daniel and Xander Hollis, her youngest son, TJ Hollis; her mom Betty Smith; her baby sister and brother-in-law Melissa and Bert Kinney; her older brother Kevin Smith; her niece Samantha Smith; and her nephew Gary Smith.

Please join us in celebrating her life Friday June 25, 2021. Graveside service will be held at 11am at Perris Cemetery, immediately followed by a memorial service at 225 Mildred St. (directly behind the cemetery). All are welcome.
