Charlotte McCorkle

Born Friday, June 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Edward Jack Gregg and Clemmie Aline (McDonald) Gregg.

Raised in Amarillo Texas, it was there during WW2 that she met the love of her life, William McCorkle Sr., who was stationed in Amarillo in the Air Force. They were married 52 years before he passed away August 13, 1996.

They moved to Hemet in 1952, where they raised their family. Charlotte worked as an Operating Room Technician at Hemet Hospital for over 20 years. She loved working in surgery and being able to help others. She was an avid reader and was very active in the First Baptist Church, as well as Bible Fellowship Church in Hemet. She also enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Laughlin Nevada on bowling trips with husband, Bill.

She had a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving is son, William McCorkle Jr. (Vickie) of Lake Arrowhead CA., daughter, Aline Searl (Marc) of Hemet CA., son Tom McCorkle (Lee) of Carbondale CO., and sister, Sarah Hamilton of Las Vegas NV.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, CA.

Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
