Clara Marie Lundtveit

Clara Marie Briggs was born August 1, 1930 to Curtis and Rosa (Randall) Briggs in Lampson, Washburn Co. On June 25, 1950, she was united in marriage to Carl Hamilton. Two daughters were born to this union, Elizabeth in 1950 and Victoria in 1953. Carl passed away in 1967. In 1972 Clara married Donald Lundtveit. Don passed away in July 2010. Clara loved flowers and feeding the birds and deer; reading books was another favorite pastime. In recent years after developing Macular Degeneration, she switched to audio books to pass her days.

She is survived by two daughters, Liz (Larry) Petersen of Frederic, WI and Vicki (Rod) Smith of Hayward, WI; seven grandchildren, Zach Petersen of Burnsville, MN, Daniel (Catrina) Mittlesdorf of Drummond, Haley (Jimmy) Kershaw-St. Catherine, Laramie Mittlesdorf, Vanessa Smith and Scott (Christy) Jorgensen, all of Hayward, Julie (Mark) Dahlberg of Solon Springs; 12 great grandchildren, Anglina Castilano, Angelo, Valentino and Rocco Mittlesdorf of Drummond, Gino and Jackie St. Catherine, Roman Kershaw, Maddie Mittlesdorf, Cody and Courtney Jorgensen, all of Hayward, Luke Dahlberg and Beth Dahlberg of Solon Springs.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands a brother, Lawrence Briggs and a sister, Alice Bernice Briggs.
