Robert was a proud Marine for four years and was passionate about the second amendment. He worked as a delivery driver for Wilmore Snack Sales and became an Ordained minister. He loved God with all his heart and reading and studying the Bible. He was a faithful member of Grace Tabernacle for over 30 years. Robert loved to laugh, often playing pranks on people. He loved to fish and spend time with his loving wife, Becky and their family.
Robert joins in Heaven his mother, Alma Byler.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Becky Byler; dad, Harvey Byler; sister, Linda Keough; brothers Norman Byler (Kim) and Douglas Byler; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037.
Honoring Robert as Pallbearers will be Jeff McDaniel, Shayne Ballard, David Wimer, Kip Carson, Harmon Carson and Josh Stinson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brother Victor Carson, Sister Aline Carson, the pallbearers, and Grace Tabernacle.
