Robert "Bob" Bruner

ELM GROVE, LA-Celebration of Life Services for Robert Elton Bruner, 57, will be held on Sunday October 19, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bros. George Rodgers and Mike Reichard officiating. Interment will follow in Pease Chapel Cemetery in Haughton. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Robert was born on October 25, 1956 in Minden, Louisiana and went to be in the arms of the Lord on Tuesday October 14, 2014 In Jourdanton, Texas. He was a loving Husband, Father and grandfather. His sweet spirit and smile will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He was a faithful member of Koran Baptist Church in Haughton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton Aubrey Bruner and Louise Gamble Bruner; brother, Ricky Elmer Bruner. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Susan “Gale” Bruner; a son, Jay Williams and wife Brandi; grandson, Colton Williams; granddaughter, Dixie Williams; a sister, Marcia Good and husband John; nieces, Michelle Good, Elizabeth Olvey, Julie Barnes and Katherine Bruner; nephew, Joshua Good and sister-in-law, Carolyn Bruner.
