Richard and Sylvia (Green) Stanton welcomed Robbie Lynn into this world on May 5, 1963 in Shreveport LA. Robbie’s fun personality gave way to many interests. She loved to fish, but when not able to be near the water, you might find her cooking, crafting, clearance shopping or maybe watching some TV. Even there she was in to a wide variety of shows- like pay-per-view wrestling, any of the Little Women reality shows, or her soaps. There was never a dull moment with Robbie around.
Robbie completely devoted her life to her husband, children and grand-babies! She was the glue that held the family together, working tirelessly to be a positive influence. Her affection may be shown through the tough love of unvarnished truth, or may come in the form of feeding you until you were stuffed full. She was not going to let her illness get in the way of caring for her family or helping with any social events they were a part of. In fact, one time, the Bossier High School football team had a problem. The players didn’t have access to good meals before practice, so she set out to remedy this. She and Melvin sometimes brought coolers full of spaghetti and other times grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. This filled a short term need, but long term, ended up restarting the booster program. She loved hard. She loved passionately. And, if you were part of her circle, she loved unconditionally. Without a doubt, she will be missed. Robbie passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the age of 56.
