A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Pam on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel.
Dr. Scott Adams, Pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church, will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Pam was a lifelong resident of Bossier City and went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 25th, 2010. She was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church,where she often served as a greeter and usher. She proudly worked in the Bossier Parish School System for 11 years finishing up her career in the Central Office with her beloved secretary group. She greeted everyone with a kind word and cheerful smile. She devoted her life to her family. Her nephews Ryan and Cameron and niece, Rachel were the pride of her life. Pam never met a stranger. She faithfully followed them to every sporting event where she was commonly known to all as “Aunt Pam.”
She was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Patsy Howell, grandparents, Alvin and Alma Howell and Blanche Cates.
She is survived by Grandfather Hugh Cates, brother, Ronnie Howell of Bossier City, sister, Denise Howell of Benton, nephews Ryan and Cameron Howell and niece Rachel Howell. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Robin Howell, Sheri Wynn and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Her cousins will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to: Dr. Christopher Snead, her loving angel Kate Young, the nurses in the Schumpert Cancer Center, and her loving caregivers Tammy Chambers, Shanae Brown, and Linda Robinson on the Oncology Floor.
