Janice Honeycutt Berry was born on December 8, 1944 in Anniston, Alabama. She passed away November 9, 2022 at the age of 77 in her home in Haughton, Louisiana.

She retired from Bossier Parish School Board and was a faithful member of Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her family and taught them the importance of placing Jesus first in their life.

Ms. Berry is survived by her daughter, Kathy B. Wise and husband Rodney; son, Loy Wayne Berry, Jr. and daughter, Sharon B. Dupree and husband Britt; sisters, Evelyn Kelley and Judy Honeycutt; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Loy Wayne Berry, Sr.; her mom and dad; and 4 sisters.

Services will be Monday, November 14, 2022 beginning at 3:00 pm at Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana. Visitation will be held prior to service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow services at Whispering Pines Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jacob Partain, Andy Rolen, Hayden Dupree, Alex Dupree, Daughton Berry, and longtime family friend Billy Smothermon.
