Jay was a dedicated employee who worked as a fire sprinkler installation foreman for fifteen years at Fire Sprinkler Services for his uncles, Keith and David Baham. His favorite part was driving his Uncle David crazy, but all in love. Jay loved this work and the many coworkers he called friends he met along the way.
Jay was a believer in Jesus Christ. This gives his family peace and strength to know he is spending eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as his mother, Deborah Baham Smith, whom he adored.
Jay had a passion for music and learned to play guitar at an early age. He continued his love for music into adulthood.
Jay was genuine, kind, and never had a negative word to say about anyone.
Towards the end of his life, he loved living with his aunts, Donna and Dora, who loved him like their own.
Jay is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Voinché; Jessica Arcement and Jeremy Kent, who filled the role of brother and sister in his life; aunts, Donna Johnson, Dora Baham, Renee McAnn, Debbie Baham, Margaret Baham, Lynn Baham, and Virginia St. John; uncles, David Baham and Keith Baham; father, Jim St. John; and numerous cousins who played vital roles in Jay’s life, along with many extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Baham Smith; grandparents, Allen and Judy Baham; stepfather, Patrick Smith; uncle, Douglas Baham; aunt, Polly Martini; cousin, Danny Baham; and daughter, Taylor St. John.
