Helen "Gigi" Murphy

Helen was born on December 18, 1945 in Manning, AR to Tom and Helen Thomas. She was a graduate of Fair Park High School in 1963. She most recently resided in Haughton, LA with her husband Robert "Bobby" Murphy and puppies Junior & Muffin. The thing she loved the most was being "Gigi" to her grandchildren. She had an amazing gift and love for gardening of all kinds. She was a woman of great faith and loved her church families dearly. She always had a smile on her face and was devoted to her family and friends. She loved and prayed for everyone.

Left to cherish her memories are the love of her life and dedicated husband of 37 years, Robert "Bobby" Murphy; her children, Sheryl Graves and husband Mark, Daryl Ballard and wife Karen, Patrick Murphy and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Kristen Mann and husband Jerry, Justin Ballard and wife Ty, and Sarah Murphy; great grandchildren, Thomas McIlwain and River Ballard and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Gigi will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Doyline United Methodist Church, 116 Main St., Doyline, Louisiana 71023. Officiating will be Pastor Montie' Dobbins.
